After spending 10 years with H & R Block (Ottawa and Carleton Place) and Liberty Tax Service (Carleton Place), as tax preparer, trainer, office manager, and district coordinator, I have decided to venture out on my own. 

My philosophy in the Tax Preparation Industry, is that you must do everything you can for your client.  It is their money you are dealing with, and they want to know they are in good hands. 

As a tax professional, you have only two duties: 1) Ensure you take advantage of every legally available option, making sure the client pays only their fair share to keep our country running, not a penny more; and 2) Make sure that they take advantage of every benefit that they qualify for.

That is what I want to do for the people of West Ottawa, Lanark County, and surrounding areas.

Important Questions You May Have

During the Off-Season I work from home, and can be reached online by email, or over the phone.  Check below for my hours. 

From February to April, I work from a Pop-up temporary office.  This year we are located back in Almonte, at 78B Bridge Street.  It is 1 block from the traffic light, across from the old Almonte Hotel.  Hours will change throughout the 3 months. Check them out below.

We will be able to complete almost all T1 personal tax returns, including employment, non-incorporated small business, farm, contract work, commission or employment expenses, non-resident, etc. for residents of all Canadian provinces, except for Quebec.

Yes, and no. Through agreements with other qualified tax preparers, we will be able to complete ex-pat USA tax returns. Unfortunately, The person who was doing incorporated business tax returns has retired, and I am still looking for a replacement.

At this time, we are unable to complete tax returns for Quebec residents.  If there is enough demand in the future, that may change.

Due to the competitive nature of this business, we are unable to post our rates. We will not be charging you for every piece of paper you bring us, like some other companies. We will be charging flat rates for various types of returns. Please contact us for more details.

We are able to accept Cash, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and E-Transfers.
